USAPFL

begins play

in 2010

 

Dennis Wilson, CEO of USA Football Leagues (USAFBL) announced the creation of the USA Professional Football League (USAPFL) that will begin play in 2010.

Dexter Girven, the current Commissioner of the Big North East Football Federation, will merge the prosperous franchises of the BNEFF into the Northeast Professional League (BEPFL) and will serve as Commissioner of the new USAPFL stated Wilson, the President of Sports In The USA, Inc. and the Metropolitan New York Football Writers Association.

There will be five separate leagues in the USAPFL starting in 2010 with the NEPFL and following in 2011 with the Southeast Professional Football League (SEPFL) and the Mid-West Professional League (MWPFL). In 2012, the USAPFL will expand with the addition of the Southwest Professional Football League (SWPFL) and Northwest Professional Football League (NWPFL)



In breaking news , the CDFL has secured Salem Stadium in Salem, Virginia for Saturday, December 5, 2009 as the venue for its initial invitational senior bowl game for NCAA D-II, NCAA D-III and NAIA standouts with no remaining eligibility. Salem Stadium is the current of the Stagg Bowl and will host the 2009 NCAA Division III championship game on December 19. announced George St. Lawrence, President of the CDFL, the athletic director at Monroe-Woodbury High School.
